Yes, I seem to rember Julien Laugénie but that's about it, I'm afraid. Lived in Chiswick at the time, I think. What's he doing now and where? Did you go to section française or anglaise, then? And did you stay on to the end? What about teachers you might remember?

Greetings from south Louisiana (close to New Orleans)

I attended the Lycee in the late 50s and early 60s. Don't suppose any of you are that old??? I remember Roger Gugen, Stephen Hirth, Soames Michelson, Frederic Laborde...would likely recognize many other names.

Hi, I started out with Zanita in 12eme and remember people like Julien Laugenie, and Natasha Richardson (who tragically died recently).

(In fact Zanita's organised a reunion later this month).

In 8eme I had to do a year again so most of my friends were from the year below. I still keep in touch with Vicken Aprahamian (now living in Ottawa, Canada), David Poole (now in Perth, Australia but soon moving to Stavanger, Norway), Louise Jakobsen (Rhodes Island, USA) and Jean-Paul Cobb (Kingston, London).

If anyone remembers me or any of the names I've mentioned do get in touch.

I am particularly keen to get in touch with long lost friends Dennis Lancel, Edward Perry, Yehwah Owais and Peter Dabrowsky...

... and teachers like Ms Sylvester (maths - went off to live in Bermuda), M Ingram, M Bach, Mr Englehart, Mrs Cobb, Mr Yeoman.

I remember Mme Cobb, history teacher, and Mr Yeoman, English teacher, I do not remember any other names you mentioned, except Julien Laugenie and of course Natasha Richardson.

Mal, I was expecting to see a thread in this forum mentioning Natasha after her tragic death...a lot of talk here in Canada on how Quebec medical staff handled the situation.

Lyla hello, we were in 4ème together, the last I saw you was on the undergound in London probably in 1983 just before I left for Canada. I recognize the names you mention.

For those of you who are interested there is a French site called Copains d'avant where you can view lots of Lyçée class pictures from the 70s and early 80s. I don't recognize too many names of the other members, just Florence Chueca and a couple more.

To add to the list of friends I am looking for Peter Dabrowski, Marie-Christine Hajjar, Marc Lama, François Olivier...sadly found out that Vassili Bogomoletz passed away recently. Lyla you may remember him.

Bumped into Derek Vago a few years ago, I think he still lives in Montreal.

Hi Vicken -
Don't remember you but re your query on Marc Lamah, I too remember him and last contact I had with him was a few years ago when he was a surgeon with the Nuffield Health Hospital in Surrey.
A few of us had a Lycee class reunion last year and Natasha was fondly remembered...
Ciao!
Z
